Corporate Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation, fall 2009

I was honoured to be asked to speak at the Corporate Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation. Speakers included Henry Chesbrough (!), an authority on open innovation, so needless to say I was challenged to give the audience the best that I had.

Distributed Innovation

Last Thursday, I gave the talk. The topic was Distributed Innovation. It’s not the same as open innovation, but highly related. In the talk I gave examples of user innovation, innovation communities such as – the RepRap communities – and opportunities: open business models. Later in the foyer the RepRap machine demonstrated its magic.
