Planting the Tree of Life

In the food forest we planted a ~7 year old (European) Oak tree. This tree species is known to support over 400 species!

We got the tree with a very heavy clout to the side of the food forest:

There was no doubt in my mind exactly where the tree was supposed to go. It was to get a very central place: exactly in the middle of where there was a magical Flower of Life symbol made entirely of flowers. This symbol was created by Mariëlle Leenders a few years ago:

It was a really heavy clout but we got it there and I started digging!

I also made a nice sign with our handheld CNC (Shaper Origins):
